In the first quarter of 2023, the carpooling and ridesharing market in Lebanon saw varying performance metrics across the top five apps. Here’s a closer look at the trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Save on city rides showed fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 3.5K in mid-March. The app's weekly active users also saw a significant rise, reaching about 34.9K during the same period.

Bolt: Request a Ride maintained relatively stable download numbers, with a slight increase towards early March, reaching around 2.2K. However, active users saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at approximately 11.9K.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a downward trend in downloads, dropping to around 434 by the end of March. Despite this, the app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users peaking at around 52.5K in late February.

Careem – rides, food & more saw a consistent decline in downloads, falling to about 216 by the end of the quarter. Active users also decreased, finishing March with approximately 7.5K weekly active users.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver experienced a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at around 527 in mid-March. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter with about 1.5K.
